BCDA is pleased to welcome Doctor Edo Lavi for his course presentation to help dentists better understand how recent advances in clear aligner therapy impact every dental practice.
The course will focus on new digital tools for diagnosis and treatment planning of multidisciplinary cases. It will also highlight how innovations in clear aligner therapy for children impact the way we treat the preadolescent patients.
Upon completion of the presentation, attendees will be able to determine when clear aligner orthodontic therapy is appropriate for children and adults, under-stand the difference between orthopedic expansion and anterior arch develop-ment, apply innovations in clear aligner therapy to improve clinical outcomes and utilize the newest digital tools to aid in diagnosis, treatment planning and communication with patients and providers.
Dr. Edo Lavi is a graduate of UMDNJ (now Rutgers) and NYU Postgraduate School of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Prior to specialty training, he was a general practice resident and then chief resident at Interfaith Medical Center, during which time he published and presented research on sleep apnea and airway disorders. After graduation, he established an orthodontic practice in Israel.
In 2019, he relocated to Maryland and participated in the Invisalign Fellowship Program. Since 2020, he has treated over 1500 patients with clear aligner therapy.
