Who has not had a bad day in Endodontics? We all have! Drs. Behnia and Trattner will examine some of the most common endodontic pitfalls that may lead to clinical mishaps. They will review clinical and radiographic techniques on how to minimize these mishaps and do better case selections.

Bradley Trattner, DDS
A Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a member of the College of Diplomates, Dr. Bradley Trattner received both his DDS and Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He has maintained a full-time private practice in Baltimore for more than 25 years. He holds a staff position at Sinai Hospital and teaches Endodontics in the departments of Endodontics and Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He has been voted “Baltimore’s Best” Endodontist by Baltimore Magazine since 2002. He is a past President of both the Maryland Association of Endodontists and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity as well as a member of the Pierre Fauchard International Honor Academy and is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. He is past president of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry Alumni Board. He has lectured extensively nationally and is a Clinical Advisor and certified lecturer for Real World Endo.
Ali Behnia, DMD, MS
Dr. Behnia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering (Cum Laude) from Boston University as well as a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from the University of Maryland. He attained his specialty certificate in Endodontics upon graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School with honors. Dr. Behnia has published and lectured extensively, both nationally and internationally and is an active member of numerous professional societies, including the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), American Dental Association (ADA), American Society of Forensic Odontology (ASFO), American Association of Dental Boards (AADB), and the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments (CDCA). He is a Govenor-appointed Board Member to the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners for a second term, currently as the Parliamentarian. He has also been actively serving his specialty professional society, the American Association of the Endodontists (AAE). He currently serves on the AAE's Board of Directors as District I Director. Dr. Behnia is also the Past President of The Alumni Association of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Baltimore, Maryland. In fulfilling his passion for Forensic Dentistry, he serves as a Forensic Odontologist (consultant) for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to opening his private practice, Dr. Behnia was an Assistant Professor and Director of Pre-doctoral Endodontics for four years at the Department of Endodontics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He is currently a Part-time Clinical Assistant Professor (Dean's Faculty) at the Department of Advanced Oral Sciences and Therapeutics, Division of Endodontics, University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Baltimore, Maryland. He was recognized as a Top Dentist (Endodontist) by the Washingtonian Magazine in 2009, 2015, and 2017. He has also been honored Fellowship in the American College of Dentists.
