"3D Printing: The Pragmatic Digital Tool for General Practitioners" - Usa Bunnag, DDS

Course Summary:    

Doctor Usa Bunnag's lecture will begin with an overview of clinical applications for 3D printing for general practitioners. She will introduce and explore the options for 3D printing models for clear aligners, surgical guides and nightguards in the office. Learn how using digital technology can save you time and money and increase profits in your dental practice.


Doctor Usa Bunnag was a dental assistant for 13 years before graduating from the Howard University School of Dentistry in 1994. She now owns two dental practices in which she incorporates digital and laser dentistry, including Cerec CADCAM, Solea laser, and 3D printing. She has been a Cerec user for 14 years and added Solea and 3D printing in 2018. Doc­tor Bunnag founded Smiles on Wings, a charity providing humanitarian aid in remote villages of Thailand. She was recognized by the American Dental Association in 2017 as Humanitarian of the Year and by the International College of Dentists as Distinguished Humanitarian in 2019. She has two grown children and is a caregiver for her husband of 37 years.
